To the editor:
I recently found the new 305 trail open so I walked from High School Road to Winslow Way on it. It was a great scenic walk along a beautifully constructed trail.
Having said that I found it to be a gold-plated boondoggle, and another waste of money by our illustrious city council. A gravel path of around 6 feet wide would have sufficed, but instead we have a 12-foot-wide paved path with bridges strong enough to support a locomotive.
I will use the path often, because it is nice, and as my wife and I agreed it’s a done deal so we might as well enjoy it.
