To the editor:
I disagree with John Micek’s assessment that the controlling party in Congress is “out of ideas” when it comes to health care. (‘Republicans are Out of Ideas on Health Care’ by John L. Micek, Bainbridge Island Review, June 24).
Unfortunately, they may still try to pass a watered down health care bill that hurts millions of Americans.
It is time for constituents across the country to advocate for a bill that affordably covers all Americans. Write or call your elected representatives and tell them to do this.
Then ask your friends in other states to do the same.
It is we the people who have the power in this situation, if we speak up.
