The first Kitsap Blues Music Festival will take place Labor Day Weekend at the Kitsap Fairgrounds.

The event features Samantha Fish, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Curtis Salgado, Nick Vigarino’s Meantown Blues and more. The event will feature 20 artists on two stages Aug. 30-Sept. 1. And it’s not just blues. Acts also play R&B, rock, Americana and roots.

There are weekend and daily tickets available, along with RV and tent camping. There are also food and concession vendors and beer/wine gardens. The event is being put on by Bremerton’s Admiral Theatre Foundation and the Kitsap Fair and Stampede Association.

7 p.m. – Front Street Revue, a roots rock and blues band from Poulsbo

8 p.m. – Rafael Tranquilino, funk-rock-blues-jazz from Everett

9 p.m. – Kara Hesse, Americana soul and rock

Aug. 31

1 p.m. – Brian Butler, songwriter-blues singer-guitarist

2 p.m. – Tinsley Ellis, blues and rock and folk

3:15 p.m. – Anni Piper, sultry rock and blues singer from Portland

4 p.m. – Jackie Venson, R&B and soul from Austin

5 p.m. – Joel Astley, Americana-blues-funk-jazz from Seattle

6:15 p.m. – Tommy Castro & the Painkillers, blues-R&B-rock guitarist and singer

7:30 p.m. – Kenny James Miller Band, gospel-blues-rock from Montana

8:30 p.m. – Joanne Shaw Taylor, British blues-rock

11 a.m. – James Howard Band, instrumentals to rockin’ blues

1 p.m. – CD Woodbury, blues-roots-rock group from Graham

3:30 p.m. – Too Slim and the Taildraggers, blues-rock band from Spokane

3:15 p.m. – Tim Hall Band, blues-soul singer

5:30 p.m. – Jontavious Willis, country-blues singer and guitarist

5:15 p.m. – The Stacy Jones Band, roots rock-Americana-blues singer-songwriter
