Eleven Bainbridge Island artists are featured in the 15th Annual CVG Juried Show in Bremerton.
More than 327 artists from throughout the state submitted 607 artworks for consideration. Juror Margaret Bullock chose a limited number for the show. Artists entered work in three categories: Two-Dimensional Art, Three-Dimensional Art and Photo/Digital Art.
Collective Visions Gallery is located in Bremerton at 331 Pacific Ave.
Having whittled the selection to 130, Bullock will select the $1,500 winner for Best of Show and three $1,000 Best of Category, three $500 second in category and three $250 third in category.
Additional prizes include a $1,000 Best of Kitsap Award and over $2,000 in purchase awards. Ten Honorable Mention Awards also will be chosen, along with a $300 People’s Choice Award.
The CVG Show opens to the public Jan. 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and continues Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to. 4 p.m. until Feb. 25.
An Awards Ceremony will take place Jan. 22 and will be recorded for viewing via YouTube and the CVG Show website. There also will be a live online artist panel discussion on Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. and a live gallery talk by artist and curator Linley Logan on Feb. 25 at 6 p.m.
