BI couple writes book on ‘Holy Love’

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, a Bainbridge Island couple’s book called, “Holy Love: The Essential Guide to Soul-Fulfilling Relationships,” is being published.

Elisa Romeo is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the author of “Meet Your Soul.” Adam Foley is a certified somatic practitioner and yoga instructor who uses spiritual coaching, somatic healing and his intuitive abilities to connect people to their soul. Together, they help individuals awaken and deepen their soulful nature within relationships.

As married parents of two, Romeo and Foley use practical stories from everyday life, their personal spiritual experiences and examples from their work with thousands of couples to teach sacred partnership.

The information that Holy Love offers can be used by readers who are married, in long- or short-term relationships or single. It is designed to help readers heal conflict in all relationships: marriages, friendships, children, family members, coworkers, neighbors and even acquaintances, their publicist says.

A news release says couples and families are facing the unprecedented challenge of sustaining intimacy through a time of extreme uncertainty. Since the COVID-19 quarantine, divorce rates have skyrocketed. Yet, our deepest common human desire is to be met deeply, intimately and with unconditional love.

In the book, the authors say many have lost connection with the authentic part of themselves — the soul. How can we find a soul mate if we can’t feel our own soul? The book explains how readers can grow through self-discovery via a groundbreaking method based on the premise that this wise part of ourselves is essential for nurturing relationships.
