Earth Day fun day Sunday

Several hundred people enjoyed blue skies and blossoms during the annual Earth Day celebration April 24 at Rotary Park. The family friendly event hosted by the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation in partnership with Bainbridge Metro Parks celebrated the 50th anniversary to promote the health of the environment with live music, nature-themed activities for kids, information booths, local food, invasive weeds removal, and planting of hundreds of wildflowers and plants.
