At the 3A tournament at Liberty Lake near Spokane, for the Bainbridge boys, Justin Martin and Ryan Sturham both shot 82; Dane Byers an 89; and Andrew Jobes a 97 on the first day.
Max Herendeen of Bishop Blanchett won with rounds of 68 and 63 for a 131 total.
For the Bainbridge girls Tuesday, Grace Charintranont shot a 91; Sara Kriegh a 99; Hailey Fink a 105; Tate Treverton a 119; and Makena Miller withdrew. On Wednesday, Charintranont shot a 112.
Bernice Stolte of Bellevue was the winner with a 73 the first day but a blistering 65 the second for a 138 total.
For the Kingston boys Wednesday in Olympia, Orlando Chiquiti shot an 83 after shooting a 79 Tuesday. Ashton Purser scored a 94 Tuesday.
For the North Kitsap boys Tuesday, Mac McKinnon shot a 91 and Jake Poggi a 102.
Ben Sweet of Sequim and Zach Miller of White River tied for first, both with rounds of 71, 71 for an overall score of 142. Von Wasson of Centralia had the low score on the first day with a 69, but he shot a 75 Wednesday.
Track
For Bainbridge, Allie Wildsmith is competing in the high jump Thursday at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma. Ella McRichie is competing in the pole vault Friday, with Matt Le Dorze running in the 100 meters.
For the North Kitsap boys, Logan Sloman will run the 100 and 200 meters, Jonathan Olmsted the 400, Alec Ibarra and Matthew Fee the 800, Derek Cordova the 3200, Carter Braund the 110 hurdles, the 4 by 100 relay, the 4 by 400 relay, Jay Ashford-Downing will compete in the high jump, Caleb Leche and Tenichi Gordon in the pole vault, Lincoln Castillo in the long jump, Laine Miller in the discus, and Isaac Lesco in the javelin.
For the girls, Lillian Pruden and Emerson Bollert will run the 200, Pruden the 400, Genesi Funston and Salix Wartes-Kahl the 800, Wartes-Kahl the 1600, the 4 by 100 relay, the 4 by 200 relay, the 4 by 400 relay, Kate Posten and Stephanie Lara in the high jump, Kaiya Ochs in the pole vault, Jazmine Gipson in the long jump, Shelby Snider in the triple jump and Corinne Aala in the discus.
For Kingston, Joseph Jafek-Irigaray will compete in the pole vault. Alice Moe will run for the girls in the 3200, Leighton Menge the 100 hurdles and Lynn Nelson in the javelin.
Tennis
For Bainbridge, third-seeded Ella Parker is competing at state in singles, while freshmen Elle Schuchman and Malia Lemieux are the No. 1 seed going into the state competition in Richland this weekend.
High school boys tennis is in the fall, but they also play at state in the spring. From Bainbridge, the doubles team of Brogan Rice and Aiden McLennan have qualified.
Meanwhile, seven Vikings from North Kitsap are competing in Seattle at the Nordstrom Tennis Center Friday and Saturday.
Teegan DeVries is playing singles for the girls, while three doubles team are playing for the boys. They are Carl Burchill-Ethan Gillespie, Garrett Rhoads-Ryan Williams and Josh Smith-Drake Jones.
Softball
In girls 2A softball in Selah, the North Kitsap fastpitch team plays No. 6 Tumwater at 10 a.m. Friday.
If they win, the 11th-seeded team plays at 1 p.m. against the winner of No. 14 Rochester vs. No. 3 Lynden. If they lose they play the loser of that game at 2 p.m. in a loser out contest.
