Portland author Brian Doyle will introduce his new book, “The Plover,” at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 18 at Eagle Harbor Books in Winslow.

This magical novel will delight “Mink River” fans, and anyone who loves a joyous journey of discovery and exploration of the human spirit and life’s surprising paths.

The event is free and open to the public. The program will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a book signing.
