GoWireless Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer has opened a new retail location at Island Village Shopping Center on High School Road.
GoWireless is the first new retailer to open at Island Village, located at 321 High School Road, since Urban Renaissance Group began repositioning and renovating the retail center late last year.
GoWireless will carry numerous hand-held devices, such as basic phones, smartphones and tablets within its 1,843-square-foot store.
Officials with Urban Renaissance Group, the Seattle-based full service commercial real estate firm that owns Island Village, said GoWireless specializes in customer satisfaction for all mobile wireless needs and is the only consumer electronics store on Bainbridge Island.
Island Village retail center began receiving more than $275,000 in common-area improvements late last year.
Existing retailers in the 97,320-square-foot shopping center, including Safeway and Rite Aid, will also soon be joined by Westside Pizza’s new sit-down restaurant, which is currently undergoing renovations and is targeted to open this summer.
