To the editor: Green spaces make for better living. I was the chair for the open space bond campaign back in 2001 and reviewed study after study that showed that parks/open space raise both the quality of life and property values in a community.

Green spaces make for better living. I was the chair for the open space bond campaign back in 2001 and reviewed study after study that showed that parks/open space raise both the quality of life and property values in a community.

We have a rare opportunity to add a downtown park with no net tax increase to property owners. Please join me in voting YES when you receive your ballot.
