Bainbridge and North Kitsap gymnasts vaulted one final time in the 1A/2A/3A WIAA State Gymnastics meet Feb. 23-24.
The Spartans qualified as a team during districts and sent several gymnasts. Therefore, Bainbridge finished sixth with 161.45 points.
Jade Bereman finished fifth all-around with a 36.275. Bereman was 36th on the vault with an 8.70, sixth on the bars with a 9.05, second on the beam with a 9.50 and sixth on the floor with a 9.35.
On the vault, Grace Reeb finished 21st with an 8.95, Jacqui Beresford and Sofia Fleischmann tied for 79th with an 8.10, Shawna Smith finished 95th with a 7.0 and Steph Cuthbert finished 96th with a 6.95.
In the uneven bars, Reeb finished 45th with a 7.60, Bella Fitzgerald finished 83rd with a 6.50, Fleischmann tied for 87th with a 6.30 and Smith finished 94th with a 5.40.
Smith finished 45th on the beam with an 8.40, Reeb finished 48th with an 8.35, Reese Gray finished 51st with an 8.30, Beresford finished 59th with an 8.15 and Fleischmann finished 69th with a 7.70.
Reeb finished 12th on the floor with a 9.175, Beresford finished 44th with an 8.925, Smith finished 88th with a 7.60 and Fleischmann and Mayah Lane tied for 91st with a 7.275.
North Kitsap sent a few gymnasts to compete in various events but nobody qualified for the finals. The Vikings finished 12th with 72.275 points.
Arabelle Miller finished 57th on the vault with an 8.40. Rachael Bruns finished 76th with an 8.225, Callie Hinds finished 77th with an 8.20 and Tasha Beukema finished 93rd with a 7.35.
In the uneven bars, Hinds finished 22nd with an 8.30 and Miller finished 70th with a 6.95. In addition, Miller finished 67th on the balance beam with a 7.75. Lastly, Hinds finished 61st in the floor exercise with an 8.70 and Bruns finished 74th with an 8.40.
