The Island Music Center is turning back the culture clock this holiday season and will host several Kitsap County bands as part of “Turkeystock: A Thanksgiving Tribute to the Tunes of the 1960s” from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30.

The trio of local musical groups include the old-time roots music of Chele’s Kitchen, the electric blues of The Julie Duke Band and classic rock-inspired trio The Peter Spencer Experience.

These musicians will reinterpret and pay homage to the groundbreaking musical stylings of this most influential and distinctive decade for a really groovy cause.

Tickets are on sale now. All proceeds go to benefit Helpline House.

The Island Music Center is located at 10598 NE Valley Road.

Admission is $15 for adults and $7 for children. For more information about Turkeystock, or to purchase tickets, call 206-842-9916, email markh@howlinwolf.com or visit www.howlinwolf.com/hwp/turkey.
