Hannah Claire Earle

Durham, NH – Hannah Claire Earle, 40, of Meadow Road died peacefully October 21, 2024 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover after a long journey with metastatic breast cancer.

Hannah was born in Tacoma, WA and was the daughter of Kevin and Rebecca (Berns) Winston. Hannah graduated from Eagle (Idaho) High School (2002), the University of Oregon (BS, 2008), and the University of Washington (MIS, 2010).

Hannah was a devoted wife, mother, friend, and community member who had truly found her home in New Hampshire after moving here in 2013. Hannah was also an avid traveler having visited 22 countries, traversed India by public transit, journeyed from Istanbul to Paris overland, took her children to Europe when they were very young, and recently lived in Denmark with her family. Despite this sense of adventure, Hannah was firmly grounded in her community serving in numerous volunteer roles and as a librarian at Oyster River High School. During her long journey with metastatic breast cancer, Hannah became a fierce advocate for fellow patients, participant in multiple clinical trials, co-author of a recently published peer-reviewed cancer treatment study, and bright light in several cancer support organizations including, Runway for Recovery, Metavivor, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Please think of Hannah when you see Fall leaves, ocean waves, striking sunsets, beautiful flowers, newly approved cancer therapies, and planes heading to distant destinations, and remember her smiling, dancing, laughing, traveling, walking the runway, spending time with friends, caring for her kids, and contributing to her communities.

Hannah is survived by husband Andrew, daughter Clara, and son Matthias (Durham, NH); parents Kevin and Rebecca Winston(Meridian, ID); sisters Britton Bigby (Snohomish, WA) and Heather Jennings (Des Moines, WA); brothers Christian Jennings (Wauwatosa, WI) and RJ Winston (Iowa Park, TX); parents-in-law David Snider and Catherine Michel (Durham, NH), Guy and Kathleen Earle (Silverdale, WA); sister-in-law Rebecca Earle (Dover, NH); brothers-in-law Philip Earle (Austin, TX) and Andrew Snider (Las Vegas, NV); and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
