The Bainbridge Island Little League All-Stars were announced this week.
The Majors baseball All-Stars start their district tournament June 28 at Art Mikelsen Field in Port Orchard while the 10-11 baseball All-Stars start their tournament July 5 in Gig Harbor.
The 9-10 All-Stars start their tournament July 1 in Gig Harbor.
The Majors softball All-Stars start their tournament July 1 at Snider Park in Poulsbo as do the 9-10 All-Stars.
There will be a special recognition at the tournament for Kayla Estes, who becomes the first player in BILL history and in recent district memory to play for an All-Star team five years in a row.

Babe Ruth teams ready for districts
Bainbridge Island Babe Ruth capped its season with an exciting playoff round last week.
The 2008 champions are Rolling Bay Automotive managed by Scott MacDonald with coaches Steve Culton and Chris Acuña. They successfully held off the Bios/ Bainbridge Auto team 4-3.
With the playoffs completed, the BI Babe Ruth All-Star selections have been made. This year the league will field two teams, combining 13 and 14-year-old players for one and 15-year-olds for the other.
The 13-14 team will be playing in the District 2 All-Star tournament in Port Orchard on June 27-29 while the 15-year old-team will host the District 2 All-Star tournament at Battle Point Park on June 27-29.
The first game is on Friday June 27 at 6 p.m. at Field #2.
All baseball fans and future Babe Ruth players and their families and seniors are welcome to attend these free events.
There will be coffee and snacks offered by Treeroot Edibles and Hudson Photography will be taking action photos and offer them for sale on site.
The opponents will be Bremerton and South Kitsap.
