Officials in the Metro League are asking all sports fans to wear something white at all upcoming high school sporting events this weekend.
The white clothing will represent hope and healing in light of the shooting tragedy late last week at Marysville-Pilchuck High School.
The Bainbridge Spartans football team will play Chief Sealth at Bainbridge Memorial Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The school is asking all fans, parents, students and staff to wear white to the game.
The varsity matchup will be preceded by a frosh football game against Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
