Young gardeners can stop by Eagle Harbor Books at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 for a special visit with returning Seattle author Katherine Pryor (“Sylvia’s Spinach”).

She will be reading from (and having fun with) her new picture book, “Zora’s Zucchini,” which tells the playful story of a child who discovers not only the wonder of growing food, but the satisfaction of growing a community.
