A criminal may be described as anyone who steals, kills and destroys property for profit; he is a sociopath. He cares only for himself and his profit.

Fitting this definition, I would include any national leader who starts a war that is obviously not for self-protection.

May we not also include the CEO of a multinational oil corporation? Or a “captain of industry” who cuts safety corners in a deep-water drill?

If a ship’s captain loses a bucket of oil overside, he is in big trouble. Yet time after time, these CEOs have dumped millions of barrels of oil in our waters and got away with it, with the blessings of too many members of Congress.

We desperately need to get the criminals out of both industry and government. Jail the CEOs and vote out the congressmen.
