BAINBRIDGE – Patricia deSantiago was an absolute beast — make that a sea monster — as she spooked the Seahawks with six goals as Bainbridge beat Peninsula 18-5 earlier this week in girls varsity water polo.

Alyssa Estes was equally awesome for the Spartans. She fired in six scores of her own during the big home win at the Bainbridge Aquatics Center.

BHS jumped out to an early lead and were never threatened in the contest.

Four other Spartans also scored in the contest.

Kate Eckert and Josie Davis contributed two goals each, and Greta Huber and Frances Weller also added a goal each in the Spartan victory.

Bainbridge returned to action on the road late this week against Gig Harbor, and will play again at home on Tuesday, April 19 against South Kitsap.
