Join Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Filipino American Hall to hear Diane Scott of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation highlight some of their innovative programs to reduce hunger and poverty in the developing world.
Scott will describe how they are helping farmers to be more productive, how mobile phones are improving lives, how the hope of a reinvented toilet will provide a solution to 2.5 billion people without sanitation access, and other new thinking about old problems.
