Curious explorers of all ages are invited for math-themed experiments and activities at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Kids Discovery Museum.
Just in time to help with a smooth back-to-school transition, children will practice their critical thinking skills while having fun and parents will get tips on how to turn everyday activities into a learning experience. This week, children will experiment with measuring madness.
The program is free with admission or membership.
KiDiMu will do Lego math again on Wednesday, Sept. 4, in preparation for an Eagle Harbor Book event on Tuesday, Sept. 10, when the Winslow bookstore will host an acclaimed Lego artist and book author Sean Kenney.
At that event, the kids will build creations in 35 pieces or less, inspired by the author’s newest book, “Cool Creations in 35 Pieces.”
