The public is invited to join city staff in one of two meetings to discuss the future of Bainbridge Island and the comprehensive plan update.

The visioning workshops will cover what has changed on the island, what should be preserved and what should change in the future.

Community members have the opportunity to attend the first meeting from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 or the second meeting from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17. Both meetings are at city hall.

Those who cannot attend can offer input via an online survey at www.bainbridgewa.gov/BainbridgeVision.

Surveys must be submitted by midnight Sunday, Nov. 30. The current guiding principles for the comp plan can be viewed at http://www.bainbridgewa.gov/DocumentCenter/View/1631.
