BAINBRIDGE – Bikes that have been put to work is the subject of the bicycle exhibition “Pedaling for a Paycheck” at Classic Cycle in downtown Winslow from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.

The show will feature bikes that have really earned their keep, said shop owner Jaime Amador, including professional racing bikes from several eras, newspaper delivery bikes that saw many an early morning route and even a rickshaw that was pedaled through the frantic streets of New Dehli.

Also in attendance at the show will be Bainbridge Island’s own Kiel Reijnen, of Trek Factory Racing, who will relate some of his tales from professional cycle racing, both on the team bus and from inside the peloton.

Reijnen’s presentation begins at 5:30 p.m.
