The League of Women Voters of Kitsap has announced it will host a forum in October featuring Bainbridge candidates running for office.

The forums are free and open to the public, and islanders are invited to bring questions for the candidates.

The event — with candidates for the Bainbridge Island City Council and Bainbridge Island School Board — will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 in city council chambers at Bainbridge Island City Hall, 280 Madison Ave. North.

The forum will be recorded and broadcast by BKAT on Comcast Channel 12 and Wave Broadband Channel 13.

The 2015 General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
