SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team defeated the Crusaders of Eastside Catholic on the road 42-27 Thursday, Feb. 13.
BHS led the contest early with the board showing 14-6 at the end of the first quarter.
They maintained court dominance and proceeded to outscore Eastside in every quarter except the third.
Senior Spartan staple Maddie Ketcheside led the team in points, bringing home 12. It was the most points scored by any one player in the game.
BHS freshman phenom Taylor Tye held her own as well, racking up 11 points for the team.
The Spartans would advance in the postseason victorious and face off against their familiar rivals from Lakeside High on Saturday, Feb. 15.
