TILLAMOOK, Oregon – Bainbridge-based cross country athletes ran away with some top spot finishes at the Ultimook Race Cross Country Invitational meet Saturday, Sept. 12 at Pat Zweifel’s Farm in Tillamook, Oregon.
The meet, hosted by Tillamook High School, is the first event of the season for the Spartans.
In the womens division, BHS claimed second place with 68 points, barely losing the top spot to Hood River Valley High (66).
On the mens side, Bainbridge took fourth overall in the 5,000-meter Junior Varsity 5A-6A event with a total of 149 points. Grant High School claimed the top spot with 46 points.
BHS claimed sixth place in the 5,000-meter Varsity 5A-6A event with 161 points.
