Field’s End collaborates with Northwest Actors Lab to bring six Raymond Carver stories to life at Bainbridge Performing Arts for one night only at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.

The performance is directed by Dinah Manoff and features special guest Tess Gallagher.

Called “America’s Chekhov,” Raymond Carver is considered a major writer of the late 20th century and a key force in the revitalization of the American short story.
