SEATTLE – How many shutout wins has the Bainbridge High boys varsity soccer team scored so far this season?

A handfull, literally.

The fifth Spartan shutout came on the road against O’Dea Tuesday, April 29 as the team finished 6-0 against the Fighting Irish.

The first goal of the game was scored by Gerrit Mahling, assisted by Peter Fawley at 15 minutes of play.

Things were quiet on the board for a bit, until Glodi Kingombe came through with the team’s second goal, assisted by Dylan Curran, at 39 minutes in.

At 62 minutes, team co-captain William Economy took it to the net, assisted by Mahling.

Economy again got the Spartans on the board with an unassisted goal at 70 minutes.

At 75 minutes in Peter Fawley, assisted by Sam Casad, put up one more for BHS.

The final goal of the game was scored by Fawley, assisted by team co-captain Ben Freedman.

This latest Spartan victory was again defended by BHS sophomore goalie Devon Reynolds.
