Kids Discovery Museum hosts a morning with the Bainbridge Island Police Department at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23.

Join Bainbridge police to learn to help your child act safely around vehicles and have your car seat installation inspected by the pros.

The presentation is part of a monthly program that —together with new additions to KiDiMu’s “Our Town” exhibit hall — was designed to make young residents familiar with important safety and emergency preparedness issues.

Each month the museum partners with local specialists to present subjects from natural disasters to wildlife safety and more.

The program is free with admission or membership.
