Seattle-based bestselling author Stephanie Kallos, author of “Broken for You” and “Sing Them Home,” will return to Eagle Harbor Book Company in downtown Winslow at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11 to discuss her latest book, “Language Arts.”

Her new novel spins the stories of a dedicated teacher, his enigmatic son and a wartime survivor into an affecting tale.

Charles Marlow teaches his high school English students that language will expand their worlds.
