To the editor:

In the recent issue of “Recreation Connection” by the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District there was a short paragraph entitled: “American Presidents: Their Triumphs and Their Setbacks.”

Briefly described was Hal Sandler’s weekly presentation exploring, in wonderful detail, the presidential tenure of each of the American presidents.

He discusses the noteworthy and obscure facts; the plusses and minuses of their tenure in office.

Dr. Sandler’s presentation is simply outstanding.

Kudos to the senior center for presenting such a wide variety of interesting programs and topics.
