Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Jeannette Franks, a retired University of Washington professor and gerontologist, will talk about her new book, which is about empowering mature adults with the knowledge they need to navigate the complex issues and choices they may face as they age.
