Scenes from the first Kiwanis All-Comers Track Meet of 2016 | SLIDESHOW

The first Kiwanis All-Comers Track Meet of the year came sprinting back to the track at Bainbridge High School last week.

The traditional Kiwanis All-Comers track meet can once again be found every Monday evening at the Bainbridge High School track.

The beloved family friendly gathering is free and open to everyone ages 3 and up.

This year, coordinator Paul Benton said, he and the other volunteers from the BHS cross country squad are looking for more teenagers, young adults and grownups to participate in more competitive heats.

Events will include the jogger’s mile (runner closest to his or her predicted time wins), 60- and 100-meter dashes, 60-meter mini-hurdles, the 200, 400 and the 4×100-meter relay.

No advance signup or registration is necessary.

The action begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Review’s Luciano Marano was there for the first meet of the year to capture all the action. His best shots are collected here.
