Caroline Clark, daughter of Celia and Craig Clark of Bainbridge Island, married Marco Platania, son of Gianna Castrichini and Mauro Platania of Latina, Italia on Aug. 9, 2015 in Laguna Beach, California.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a graduate of Cornell University (2010) and the University of Maryland School of Law (2013). She is working as a federal immigration attorney with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The groom graduated from University of Sapienza, Rome, Italy in 2012 with a doctorate’s degree in engineering (computer science). He is a senior inventive scientist at AT&T.

The couple met in Baltimore, Maryland and their first home will be in Short Hills, New Jersey.
