Gymnastics
The Spartans won their 113th consecutive regular season meet Friday. Bainbridge scored 159.45, ahead of Nathan Hale (136.15), Shorewood (128.75) and Shorecrest (98.10).
“Our depth showed through and the kids worked hard,” coach Cindy Guy said.
Senior captain Katie Mathews took first in the all-around, beam and floor events. Junior Anne Schwartz placed second all-around and first in the vault.
“Adrienne Palay, Rachel Kaminer and Talia Weiss contributed to our team score,” Guy said. “Sophomore Megan Duncan had a good meet as well as freshman Marielle Summers.”
The Spartans will compete against Chief Sealth and West Seattle at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bainbridge High School.
Swimming
Bainbridge defeated Nathan Hale 127-40 Friday. The Spartans swept all the boys swimming events, but did not compete in diving.
The Spartans (2-2 in dual meets) host West Seattle and Chief Sealth at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Wrestling
Bainbridge takes on Metro League rival O’Dea at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at home
