Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route that passengers can expect heavier-than-usual foot traffic Friday from Bainbridge Island due to the Seahawks home game against the Chicago Bears at CenturyLink Field.

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route that passengers can expect heavier-than-usual foot traffic Friday from Bainbridge Island due to the Seahawks home game against the Chicago Bears at CenturyLink Field.

The game is at 7 p.m.

The ferry MV Puyallup is scheduled to depart Bainbridge Island at 2:55 p.m., 4:35 and 6:30 p.m.

The ferry MV Wenatchee is scheduled to depart Bainbridge Island at 2:05 p.m., 3:50 and 5:30 p.m.

Both the Wenatchee and the Puyallup have a capacity of 202 vehicles and 2,499 passengers.

WSF is encouraging passengers to pre-purchase their return ferry tickets on-line or at a kiosk.
