Jesse Jacobi Martinez Rinonos was born July 28, 1995 and passed away tragically early in the morning, Dec. 1, 2013.
A young man just barely come of age, his life was cut short long before he could recognize his potential, or achieve his dreams.
Born in Seattle, and was raised on Bainbridge Island, he lived a lot of places in his brief life. He went to school on Bainbridge, in San Diego, and in Kailua-Kona Hawaii. He had several branches in his family tree, including relatives from Mexico, the Philippines and the Canadian band of first peoples known as the Sechelt. He will be mourned and missed by all of them, as well as his friends.
He was a young man with a big heart; he never gave up hope that everybody could someday get along.
He is survived by his mother, Tracey Rinonos; father, Jesse L. Martinez; grandparents Teddy Rinonos, Connie Rinonos and Maria Martinez; sister, Makayla Martinez; and brother, Tyler Martinez. He will be missed by his family: James and Theresa Jarreau, Kevin, Kayla, Kaleb, Anthony Rinonos and Stephen Ritualo.
There will be a memorial gathering at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at The House of Awakening; 7235 NE Parkway, Suquamish.
Donations for the family may be sent to any Kitsap Bank (10140 NE High School Road, Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110; 206-842-6637) noted with Jesse Martinez Rinonos.
