Samuel Burton Oliver passed away on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 in Los Angeles, California.
Sam was born on March 11, 1993 in Provo, Utah and was 21. He grew up on Bainbridge Island and in the Santa Barbara area. He was attending UCLA.
Sam is the son of Elisa and Charles Oliver, he also leaves behind his siblings Nathan, Collin and Emma Oliver.
Funeral dervices will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8677 Madison Ave. NE, Bainbridge Island. Private interment will follow.
Memorial contributions can be made to Camp Kesem. Camp Kesem is a summer camp experience that is free to children who have had a parent die of cancer. The counselors not only provide the camp’s week of activities but also fundraise for weeks before. Sam was a counselor there for two summers.
