Today’s tears are tonight’s dreams and tomorrow’s smiles.

Our much loved mother Carol Ann Wiggins passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 surrounded by family.

She was born Carol Ann Sutherland in Rapid City, South Dakota on June 19, 1935 to Max and Ila Sutherland. They moved to Bainbridge Island in 1944.

Carol graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1953 and went on to marry David “Skip” Wiggins.

She leaves behind daughter, Cathryn Radford (Louis Silva); son, Richard “Sonny” Wiggins (Kristen); grandchildren, Adam Radford, Kaitlyn Wiggins and Kerianne Wiggins; great-grandson Dakota Radford; and siblings, Sandra Gronley, Kay Perlatti, Paula Varon, Janice Staymates, Richard Sutherland, Mike Sutherland, Tom Sutherland, Paul Sutherland along with many nieces and nephews.

Carol had many jobs but she was mostly a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband Skip and brother Gary.

A private funeral service was held by her family.
