Patrick Kilbane, David Harvey and Jenna Eady, three professional dancers from Bainbridge Island, will be taking the stage as part of the world premiere of the latest Velocity Presents/Made in Seattle production, Kate Wallich’s “Industrial Ballet” at 8 p.m. Saturday,

March 26 at the Moore Theatre (1932 Second Ave.).

Tickets — $20 in advance, $25 at the door, $18 for those under 25 — are available at www.velocitydancecenter.org. Call 206-325-8773 for more information.

Inspired by the transgressive industrial music of the 1980s and ‘90s, this darkly glittering production brings together Wallich’s world-renowned dancers with stellar Seattle musicians performing a live score by musician/producer Johnny Goss. Wallich’s captivating brand of movement has been described as a mix of virtuosic contemporary ballet, “club kid moves, smooth athleticism, and post-post-modern dance tropes,” with an added dose of fashion and highly-crafted design.

Wallich is a Seattle-based choreographer, director and teacher — named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” in 2015. She received her training from Interlochen Arts Academy and Cornish College of the Arts (BFA in Dance, Magna Cum Laude).
