• Boys golf: Bainbridge will compete at Skagit Country Club Friday before Carl Jonson, Bobby Griffin, Jack Seidl, Kyle Schneider and Will Whealdon head to the state tournament May 25-26.

• Girls golf: Anna Bourland, Peyton Lunzer, Julia Gross, Jasmine Shattuck, Maddy Devlin, and Annika van Houte will compete in the District 2 Tournament May 17. The top 19 placers will advance to the 3A state tournament in Richland May 25-26.

• Boys lacrosse: The Spartans are currently second in the Southwest Division, with a league record of 9-3. The team has two league games remaining in the regular-season against Curtis (6-5) and Seattle Prep (2-8).

The top six teams from the Southwest and Northwest Divisions will advance to the playoffs.

King’s Way (8-2) currently holds the top spot in the Northwest, but the Spartans could take the top seed if King’s Way loses one of its three remaining games and Bainbridge wins out.

Regardless of whether they finish first or second, the Spartans will receive a first-round bye and will begin tournament play on May 21.

• Girls lacrosse: Bainbridge finished the regular season 16-1. The Spartans will enter the post-season as a No. 2 seed and will take on Tacoma in the first round of playoffs Monday.

The second round will be played Wednesday and the championship on May 15 at Eastside Catholic.

Only two teams have scored in double digits against the Spartans this season. Freshman Madeline Stevenson has gone 12-1 with 68 saves.

• Soccer: Bainbridge (5-3-1 in league) took on Eastside Catholic for a playoff berth Thursday. A win or tie would guarantee entry into the post-season. But if both Bainbridge and O’Dea (5-3-1 in league) lose, the teams would be in a tiebreak situation for the third playoff spot.

Metro playoffs begin Monday at Interbay Stadium.

• Tennis: Bainbridge finished the regular season 8-1 in league and 10-1 overall, taking the second seed in the Metro’s Mountain Division.

The team took on Nathan Hale, the top-seeded team from the Sound Division Thursday.

With a victory, the Spartans would advance to play Seattle Prep or Ingraham for the Metro League Championship Friday.

The Spartans will also compete in the individual Metro tournament beginning Saturday.The top eight finishers from each event will advance to districts May 18-19.

• Track & field: The Spartans hosted Seattle Prep in their last regular-season meet Thursday.

Athletes ranked in the top 16 of their respective events will compete at the Metro meet Wednesday and Friday. The top eight finishers will advance to the Sea-King District Tournament May 19 and 21.

Team leaders include sophomore Cameron Brink, who is third in discus with a personal best of 132 feet, 6 inches, and the 4×400 relay, which is fifth with a time of three minutes, 43 seconds.

The girls 4×400 relay holds the top spot in the Metro and is eighth in the 3A state standings with a time of 4:09. Senior Emily Barecca is second in the league in the 3200-meter run (11:36.24) and sophomore pole vaulter Audrey Allbritton is tied for first in the Metro with a personal record 9-6.
