Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra and the Bainbridge Chorale team up in an historic collaboration to present Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Serenade to Music” and Verdi’s monumental “Requiem” at the Bainbridge High School Commons.
The program showcases a cadre of talented vocalists including Soprano Janeanne Houston, mezzo-soprano Sarah Mattox, tenor Ross Hauck and bass Charles Robert Stephens.
Maestro Michael Austin Miller, music director of the Bainbridge Chorale, will lead the combined orchestra and choir in Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Serenade to Music.” Next, Maestro Wesley Schulz of the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra will take the baton to lead members of these two incredible musical organizations in Giuseppe Verdi’s monumental “Requiem.”
Performances are 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12 and 4 p.m. Sunday, April 13. The Sunday performance will be preceded by a pre-concert at 3 p.m.
