Fiona Stanton, daughter of Loretta and Scott Stanton of Bainbridge Island, was named to the dean’s list at Sweet Briar College for outstanding academic achievement during the 2014 spring semester.

Stanton is a senior majoring in mathematics.

At the end of each fall and spring term, the college recognizes students who have shown outstanding ability and achievement during the semester. To make the list, students must earn a 3.5 grade point average with a minimum of 12 graded academic hours.
