The Bainbridge High School Radio Club will host a Battle of the Bands fundraiser competition at 5 p.m. Friday, March 4 in the LGI.

Admission is $5.

The winning group will record an entire album in the Radio Club studio and also receive free album artwork services.

Performers will be judged in three categories — music, vocals and performance — with each being graded out of 10 and compiled for a total score.

Assignment of the judges was being completed earlier this week, though two BHS teachers were officially committed, including chemistry teacher Thomas Zuzelski.

“It’s going to be a competition and a concert in one,” said Radio Club spokesman, BHS junior Finn Mander. “Mainly, it’s going to be a great opportunity to showcase student talent and music at BHS.”

More information is available in the school’s main office.
