Perennial Bainbridge Island crowd-pleasers St. Paul de Vence will perform a concert at the Treehouse Café in Lynwood at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 16.

The band takes its name from a small medieval village in the south of France.

When Benjamin Doerr began to write songs about his grandfather’s early life fighting with the Free French Forces in World War II, it was uncertain, as well as unplanned, how quickly and well they would be received.

Today, St. Paul de Vence is one of the most popular bands to regularly perform on Bainbridge Island.

Tickets range in price from $12 to $24. The show is for those 21-and-over only.
