Washington State Ferries is warning ferry travelers that drivers and passengers should anticipate heavier than normal traffic over the Mother’s Day weekend.

Ferry routes are expected to get busy beginning Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 11.

Drivers are advised to use caution due to the increase in vehicle and passenger traffic at the terminals and to watch for directions from traffic attendants and vessel crew.
