To the editor:

The Boy Scouts of Troop 1565 would like to thank all of you who purchased Christmas trees from us during the 2014 holiday season.

We would also like to acknowledge the incredible support we received from the various Girl Scout troops, the staff at Ace Hardware, Key Bank and Kitsap Bank; and the marvelous service from Hill Worldwide Moving who brings us our trees every year. Your purchases have meant that our Scouts could continue their skill-building experiences, venture out on various hikes and outings (including summer camp) and learn what it takes to be successful in helping the community.

We are very proud of our young men and proud to be teaching them how to be good leaders now and in the future.

So, thanks to you all, and we hope to see you at this year’s Christmas tree and wreath sales. We will open our doors on Black Friday and will continue sales until Dec. 19 (or until we run out of trees and wreaths).
