Bainbridge Arts & Crafts presents two new exhibitions in August, “Sitting Down With Solia” and “Out in Public: A Plein Air Show.”
Bainbridge’s own Solia Hermes presents fantastical metal and wood sculptural benches.
“Out in Public” is a group exhibition celebrating Northwest plein air. Participating artists include Kathy Francis, Nicole Gelinas, Gigi Godfrey, Mary McInnis, Rebecca Lynn Parker, Sydni Sterling and Robin Paul Weiss.

Bainbridge Arts & Crafts hosts “1948,” a benefit gala to celebrate the gallery’s founding year, at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at Grace Episcopal Church.
“What Do You Know: Learning with Community Experts” returns to the Bainbridge Public Library at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The Library Book Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
