Peggy Yarbrough died March 15. She was 77.

She was born on Dec. 4, 1932, in Baltimore, Md. and married singer Glenn Yarbrough Sept. 22, 1951.

A poet and an off-and-on resident of Bainbridge Island, Peggy was a 30-year resident of Washington state.

She is survived by her son Sean and daughter Stephany.

Her ashes were scattered at a memorial on March 21, at Sacred Groves on Bainbridge Island, to help bring in the spring equinox.
