Rena Stockman

Rena Stockman of Poulsbo, age 75, died April 13 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.

She was born April 25, 1928, in Williston, N.D., to Anton A. and Marie (Lokken) Odden.

She graduated from North Central High School in Spokane.

She entered the escrow and real estate industry in 1962. In 1969, she joined Puget Sound Mortgage and Escrow on Bainbridge Island, after co-owning Eastside Mortgage and Escrow in Bellevue since 1963.

She married Donald H. Stockman on June 6, 1970, on Bainbridge Island.

At the time of her death, she owned and operated Sound Recon Services of Poulsbo. She and her husband also made a second career of buying and remodeling homes in Kitsap and Mason counties.

She enjoyed decorating her homes, traveling the country with her husband, playing golf, crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Cindy (Bruce) Campbell, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Laurie (Paul) LeMay of Poulsbo, and Resi Stockman of Vancouver, Wash.; sons Richard Stockman and Robert Stockman, both of California, John (Pam) Stockman and Hank Stockman, all of Seattle; and 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991.
