Bainbridge resident Nancy Griffiths Fenton, age 76, died at home on April 30.

Born Aug. 2, 1925, she graduated from St. Nicholas School and attended the University of Washington. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta, where she met many lifelong friends.

She met Ad Fenton, the love of her life, on June 8, 1943. They began dating at her senior prom and were married April 27, 1946.

She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, gardening and travel.

She is survived by her sister, Anne Gates; her four daughters, Christie Ridgeway, Dana Berg, Barb Schaumberg, and Jan Fenton; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. May 11 at her home on Fletcher Bay.
